Canberra SharePoint User Group Meeting - 16th November

This is to remind you that the Canberra SharePoint User Group meeting is taking place on Wednesday, 16th November at Microsoft (Level 2 44 Sydney Avenue Barton) from 5:30pm.

Please note that due to security at Microsoft, attendees arriving after 6pm will not be able to access the building.

This month, Jon Matthes from Unique World will present on how to migrate 30,000 documents from a network file share to SharePoint Portal Server (and make them useful). A presentation over viewing a real life scenario whereby a secure network file share containing reference material was migrated over to a Windows SharePoint Services site. The presentation will cover the approach, the challenges faced and the end solution.
